Best themes for Android

Are you android user who loves to play around with different themes and colours, then this post is for you. Recently, I have been wanting to change over to a new theme everyday. Rain in Chennai for the past few days has favored me a lot in attempting to try most of the themes,launchers and wallpapers (yes! this is what I do when you give me so many random holidays.. Thanks to the Met dept :P)


Out of the launchers I have tried, Go launcher seems to steal the show. I did try the Nova and Apex launcher which has got great reviews from experts. If you ask me why GO launcher, I can justify it with two specs, It's high customization facilities and also is quite a safe one (lot less ads than any other launcher).

Okay... Go launcher fine, but themes? The best free themes of Go launcher are



This is a refreshing theme that is free to use. It has a fresh, earthly (if that's a word), nature loving feel to it. The UI and the transitions are so cool. Saving the best for the last, the icons are great

2)Xsubtle


This is a theme that is on my device for a while now. I picked up on this theme very recently, but the one that would never go off style. This is the one if you are a minimalist. 

3) Moonstone Super Go theme


A creative and colorful theme according to me. The unique feature of these themes are the Effects added to them. Rainbows and colorful balloons - this is the one for you! ♥

These are the top three themes that I came across. The sad part is they drain battery quite easily. (But who cares! these are so creative and imaginative). Will talk abt best wallpapers and lock screens in my next post, until then good BYE!

There are thousands and thousands of blogs in the internet but their always stands one blog that will stand close to your heart. One of those is Kristin and Kayla's blog.They are awesome! They are just pictures but brought before your eyes in an interesting way. This is actually a photo journal of two sisters. The photographer is their dad. All the pictures turn out to be really cool!..Every picture of it conveys a true emotion. It's soo fun watching them. I want this to be continued for ever. Each picture stands unique and natural. Publishing a journal for the first time!♥♥

As a part of my journal production lab, we were asked to create a journal for the first time. It can actually sound cool at first but the making process is no joke. Right to start from designing the layout till the printing process can consume a longer time gap than we think. For this we were asked to work in smaller groups so that each member needs to take up different tasks and complete it effectively. It took us about 2-3 weeks to bring out our journal. The taste of final outcome was more sweeter than the making process. Every word that is printed had to be checked carefully for mistakes. At last found out what tedious process that newspapers and magazines undergo but was definitely awesome! Didn't ever think studies would be this fun at times!

“Time and tide waits for none” is a famous quote which denotes that time is precious and every minute have to be spent with a use. But to know that time was not that easy in olden times.  The Egyptians were the first to create twenty-four hour day.  To know the time they used shadow clocks. The position of stars was used to designate the time at nights. But at the same time other countries like Babylonia, China, Greece were using instruments like sundials to note the time. Their existed a disadvantage in this too, as these sundials failed at night time. Amenophis I, the king of Egypt, wanted to know what time it was all through the night without having to check the position of the stars. So, Prince Amenemhet made the king a clepsydra or a water clock.  He took a big bucket of water, filled it with water up to a specific line.  He then cut a small hole in the bottom of the bucket and marked off lines on the bucket after each hour had passed. It was at this time the sand clock or the hourglass was introduced. But these also proved inefficient at times. To address all these issues faced in knowing time the first mechanical clock was created with weighs that would slowly lower for every hour. These clocks were needed to be placed in a tall building since the weights needed to travel a longer distance for every hour. Even today some of the cuckoo clocks are been made by using these weights. But, this is not portable and easy to use.  By that time, Galileo stunned the whole world with his innovative invention of pendulum clocks. This idea struck his mind when he was standing in the Cathedral of Pisa watching the huge chandelier swinging back and forth from the ceiling of the cathedral. After understanding the concept from the pendulum clocks the atomic clocks were invented. Since then time keeping has significantly changed. The digital clocks are a latest addition to this family of clocks.

As the websites get updated regularly, and also a set of social networks actively working towards building up their customers and reaching to them in a jiffy rises a whole lot of purchases via online. Some shops are set ,which run solemnly through their websites and pages , get good amount of subscribers in limited time. The products are advertised and marketed at a high range with the help of these social networking sites. Lots of research process goes on here before the actual buying. Here we are very fortunate to be a user of these comforts, feel like a princess!
